Catching Up...a year has flown by!

I can not believe that it has almost been a full year since I have updated this blog. So sad that life has gotten so busy that I can't sit back and reflect. It's been a fun year with a lot of new and fun adventures. The kids are growing and growing and obviously time is flying by. Luckily pictures are worth a thousand words and we continue to document all the wonderful moments our little family has. All photos can be found here: Kelly Family Photos. Enjoy catching up for the past year.

A few key milestones since July of 2015:

Raegan started transitional kindergarten (TK) and has loved every minute of it. We had a rough start adjusting to the new schedule and new environment, but overall it's been a great experience. She's met a lot of friends that live very close by and we hope to watch them grow up together over the years. She's also picked up some great attitudes from the older kids she is surrounded by in the before/after school program. It's not our favorite part of this ordeal, but she's adjusted well and is doing great. It's hard to believe that the school year is just about complete and she'll be off to real kindergarten in just a few months! We also have continued with gymnastics and she loves it. She recently passed her level and is moving up. We hope this is something she'll continue and enjoy. We're starting her in soccer in August and are trying to finagle the system to get her on the same team as her friends. We hope that will encourage her to stick with it. Last go, she hated it! Our soccer dreams may lay with Greyson, but we shall see if she gets bitten by the soccer bug this year. Fingers crossed!

Since the last post, Greyson switched to yet another daycare, but this one is the final one until he starts school. It's a bit out of our way, but he is with one of Raegan's old daycare providers and we are just so happy with his new surroundings. The daycare is smaller with fewer kids and she focuses on preschool activities. He is already counting, knows all his letters, shapes and colors and continues to surprise us with what he learns every day. We did enjoy some reprieve from his ear infections after the tubes were put in, but they continued for quite some time. As of late, they have slowed down so hopefully he has grown out of the ear infection problems. He continues to run us ragged with all the energy he has and we're enjoying watching his little personality blossom and grow. He is a bit slower in the talking department that Raegan was, but he is advancing every day.

Overall, both kiddos are growing and keeping us on our toes every day. We're looking forward to a fun summer full of sun, swimming, trips and family! We'll do our best to continue to update and chronicle our adventures!

Keep up with us from all of our photos here:
